Italy’s Banca Investis has introduced a new app that leverages generative AI to provide its banking clientele with real-time investment advice.
Targeting high-net-worth individuals, Banca Investis collaborated with Bain to create the platform dubbed NIWA, which functions as a ‘digital junior banker.’
A standout feature of this application is its AI-powered chatbot, designed to deliver immediate responses to inquiries regarding investment portfolios. “In just seven months, in partnership with Bain, we have successfully developed and launched a pioneering platform that harnesses the capabilities of generative AI for the benefit of our clients,” shares Luca Giacobbe, the chief operating officer of Banca Investis. “The app processes over 500 pieces of information and research daily, encompassing clients’ financial assets, characteristics, and preferences. This functionality has allowed us to enhance engagement through innovative banking practices that are both personalized and efficient.”
Additionally, the app offers bespoke financial insights and provides the latest market news for its users.
