Kuady Card has officially launched in Peru, introducing a virtual prepaid Mastercard designed to offer a secure, adaptable, and convenient payment solution for residents in the region.
The card will be linked with the Kuady app, enabling users to make online purchases wherever Mastercard is accepted. Additionally, customers have the option to request a physical card for in-person transactions.
This launch is part of Kuady’s broader initiative to enhance its services by providing more flexible and secure payment alternatives. The company assures that users will gain immediate access to their funds, allowing for instant spending. Moreover, online merchants will have the capability to deposit payments directly into Kuady accounts.
This development follows the recent announcements by Open Payment Technologies regarding the introduction of Kuady in both Peru and Chile earlier this year. Kuady also established an office in Bulgaria during the summer, further expanding its reach.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Kuady, expressed enthusiasm about the card’s introduction, stating: “We are excited to bring the Kuady card to our customers in Peru, a market where the demand for flexible and secure payment solutions is increasing rapidly. The rollout of our virtual prepaid Mastercard marks an important step forward for us, not only in diversifying our service offerings but also in empowering our customers with more control and convenience over their financial transactions.
“We recognize that our clients prioritize both security and flexibility in managing their finances. The Kuady card presents our customers with a new method to shop safely online, with plans for future mobile wallet integration to facilitate seamless contactless payments.”
